PupView Crew Pet Sitter Job Description
  • Receive pet care assignments from PupView, via email and text messaging
  • Perform daily dog walking assignments. We walk dogs from 8AM - 11PM, but our busiest hours are from 10 AM to 4 PM
  • Use PupView's body cameras to record each dog walk for our video clients
  • Perform personalized pet sitting visits throughout the day, including mornings and evenings
  • Remain in contact with the client via the Client Conversation Journal
  • Remain in text, email or voice contact with PupView Admin
  • Feed pets (if requested) and refresh water during each visit
  • Give pets potty breaks and/or clean litter boxes
  • Clean up all pet accidents
  • Administer prescribed pet medications, if needed
  • Provide care, play and plenty of love and attention to our client's precious pets
  • Update the Client Conversation Journal via our online system after every visit for the client to review upon their return
  • Take to curb and bring back in garbage and recycling bins, if needed
  • Retrieve mail, packages, and newspapers, if needed
  • Rotate interior and exterior home lighting, if needed
  • Tidy up pet's direct living areas

    • Being an overnight PupView Crew Member, entails all of the above requirements, plus a few more:


  • Fulfill overnight service either in a 12 hour (starting at 7pm) or 24 hour shift (start time is at the client's discretion), at the pet's home.
  • Use PupView's home cameras to record and engage in 2 way chat with the client for overnights
  • For our 12 hour overnight service, you are allowed 1 hour of personal time to leave the client's home.
  • For our 24 hour overnight service, you are allowed 4 hours of personal time to leave the client's home.
  • Must be in contact with the client via the Client Conversation Journal and PupView admin via text, email, or a combination of the two.
  • Applicant must love pets and have experience pet sitting and/or in-home pet care experience
  • Applicant must provide proof of U.S citizenship and present valid photo identification
  • Applicant must be willing to undergo and pass a comprehensive criminal background check
  • Applicant must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekends and holidays
  • Applicant must be in good physical condition (You will be walking a lot!)
  • Applicant must be able to walk dogs and be outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Applicant must be willing to pick-up dog poo and clean up litter boxes
  • Applicant must possess excellent written and texted English communication skills
  • Applicant must be detail oriented, and extremely organized
  • Applicant must be able to address stressful situations with tact, and without alarming clients or pets
  • Applicant must be well groomed, neat, tidy and refrain from smoking while working
  • Applicant must be respectful of PupView clients, their homes, their property, their privacy - and be neat and tidy while working and staying overnight inside the client's home
  • Applicant must have access to the internet to receive assignments and have text messaging on their cell phone for full assignment coverage
  • Applicant must live in the coverage area
  • Applicant must be willing to make a 6 month commitment to work with PupView, and be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure/Non-Solicitation/IC Agreement as a condition of employment with PupView
  • Applicant must have reliable transportation
  • Applicant must have a smart phone - iPhone or Android only
  • Applicant must be able to attend 30 minute Meet & Greets for potential new clients, in your assigned area. PupView will pay for your time.
  • Applicant MUST love to be appreciated and celebrated for their efforts, and willing to have fun and let loose a few times a year at our employee appreciation parties!
  • Pet sitters are paid as Independent Contractors, once a week via direct deposit.
  • Pet sitters will be issued a 1099 and will be responsible for paying their own taxes.
  • Independent Contractor Agreement with Non-Disclosure/Non-Solicitation clause to be signed prior to being contracted as a pet sitter for PupView
  • To start, this is not always a full time job, and hours are not guaranteed. More work will come as new clients sign up within our coverage area. Some weeks could be busier than others. This is a wonderful position for anyone looking for supplemental income. This is perfect for stay-at-home moms with older children, retired individuals, college students and people looking for part-time work.
  • Solicitation for business is acceptable on behalf of PupView, however any free-lance visitations using the name of PupView is strictly forbidden and will be subject to prosecution.
  • PupView communicates with the PupView Crew via email and text messaging. If you turn off your phone or do not readily and immediately respond to text messaging using proper grammar and etiquette, this position is not for you.
