PupView was created after struggling, and seeing our friends and family struggle to find a professional, reliable and trustworthy dog walker/pet sitter. We also got sick of all the heartbreaking stories of dog walkers and pet sitters abusing the helpless pets in their care.
Pets don’t have a voice to tell us if they were abused or neglected by someone we thought we could trust.
With that in mind, we took every quality that we would ever want in a dog walking company, and created just that! We are the first to offer clients the peace of mind of real-time, live streaming video of their pet’s walk/visit! We use key lockboxes, and alert you of our arrival & departure. We also have a GPS verified pet sitter check in/out shown to you on a map, as well as a GPS map of the exact walk route that your pet sitter and pup took, all included in your online Client Conversation Journal at the end of each visit, along with a photo of your happy pet!
For overnight visits, we place PupView home cameras in the client's home, where they can watch their pets 24/7 via an app on their smartphone or tablet. They can even chat with their pet & pet sitter through the 2 way microphone on the camera.

Caring for animals isn’t our job, it’s our passion. We go above and beyond the call of duty, and are fully invested in the care and well-being of your pet. We go the extra mile to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible when you’re away. All of the members of the PupView Crew are responsible, trustworthy and genuine pet lovers. We all go through, and must pass, an extensive national background check and a rigorous training with our office dogs. In addition, all new PupView Crew members will shadow their supervisor for their first 2 visits with our company to ensure that any remaining questions will be immediately answered. Additionally, the entire PupView Crew is covered under PupView’s insurance policy - we must add that we have never had to file a claim.

Kristin is originally from St. Louis and moved to Chicago almost 1 year ago after graduating from Mizzou. She is a country music lover and enjoys exploring the city with her dog. When not out on adventures with PupView pack members she loves to read, hike, travel and exercise. She loves animals. Her entire life she has grown up with dogs, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs - you name it, they had it! She has a 4 year old Siberian Husky named ’Toby’. Joelee is a Chicago native who relocated to Los Angeles as a child, only to return back to her roots as an adult. While in LA, she starred in a couple short films, and was a fashion design major at FIDM. When not out on adventures with PupView pack members she loves making clothes, watching movies, acting, helping people, eating and singing! She loves animals and takes pride in giving their humans the peace of mind that their pets are being loved and cared for while they’re away. She has a beautiful long haired German Shepard named ‘Billy', a playful Daschund named ‘Jaws’, and an adorable Wire Fox Terrier named ‘Drake'. Breanna is from McHenry, IL. She graduated from Ball State University in May 2015. She has two older brothers. Her family got their first dog when she was in kindergarten, a beagle, and she has been crazy about dogs ever since! When not out on adventures with PupView pack members she loves going to the dog park, reading, hula hooping, and swimming. She loves animals and considered being a veterinarian, but thought that pet sitting would suit her better. She enjoys being outdoors and exploring the city while walking with the dogs. Chloe moved to Chicago from Scottsdale, Arizona a few months ago after graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Economics. She spent the majority of her life in Arizona, growing up with every type of animal: birds, lizards, snakes, cats, and of course dogs! Growing up she spent much of her time volunteering with animals at shelters and working at the Phoenix Zoo. When not out on adventures with PupView pack members she loves hiking, kayaking and traveling. She loves being given the opportunity to care for animals and help pet owners know their furry families are well cared for. She says that working with pets is extremely rewarding and fun! Sarah moved to Chicago from Reading, Pennsylvania a few months ago after graduating from Franklin and Marshall College with a bachelor of arts in creative writing and an unofficial minor in theatre, for a change of pace, more artistic opportunities, and to take classes at The Second City. Growing up, she always wanted to work with animals. She went back and forth between a veterinarian, wildlife rehabilitator, and equine sports therapist for years until realizing that all of those careers require a lot of math, which is not her strong suit. Aside from the family dogs over the years, she's had everything from rats, hamsters, and mice, to turtles, lizards, and horses, and loved them all equally. She's always loved working with animals - from pet sitting cats and dogs in the neighborhood, to volunteering at animal shelters, to training and caring for horses and even monkeys. She loves the challenge of figuring out each animal's individual quirks and personality, as well as the best way to communicate with them based on those. As much as she loves animals, she loves working with people, so being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their babies are being well taken care of is extremely rewarding to her. When not out on adventures with PupView pack members she loves acting, writing, working and studying at The Second City, exercising (especially running and lifting), and cooking delicious vegan food. Unfortunately, she had to leave her two family dogs behind in PA (a standard dachshund and a jack russell terrier, both senior ladies). Jenine is a Chicago native, living for the first time in the downtown area and loving it! She has a beautiful, 17 year old daughter who is her best buddy. They hang out, go shopping, go to the beach and she shares all her favorite blogs with her. Jenine is also a registered nurse who is using her health background to work with essential oils and is learning how to use them to help pets holistically! She's had many pets since she was a kid - mostly dogs and cats. She loves animals believes that they're great company and very innocent and sweet. She also loves pet people, and doesn't have much in common with people who don't like animals. When not out on adventures with PupView pack members, she loves reading, walking, cooking healthy, spending time with her daughter, dog and loved ones. Jenine adopted a little black lab mix named 'Mickey', who is her "problem child"! She fell in love with him the night she met him. He's sweet, but tends to be devious. He photo bombs weddings, steals kid's shoes at the beach and chases coyotes, but she loves him nonetheless! She also has a sweet, senior cat named 'Tigger'. The peace of mind that I get from being able to see Ama & Daishi's entire visit and walk on video is priceless! The GPS tracking is the icing on the cake! I was visiting downtown Chicago for a wedding and staying at a hotel in River North. I needed a dog walker, so I could spend the day hanging out with my friends, and not have to rush back. The hotel recommended PupView. After meeting my walker, and going over the services, my mind was blown! I live in Los Angeles, and have yet to see anything this cool! I was able to get a great walker, on short notice, and see my dog being walked around the city! They even included a GPS tracking map when they were finished to show me exactly where they walked. No more guessing, no more worrying. You can now go to work or vacation, and actually see exactly what’s happening while you’re away. With PupView, we use body cameras for our dog walks - as well as cat & critter visits. You will be able to see your pet’s visit in your client conversation journal at the end of each service.
For overnight visits, your pet will stay in his own home where he feels most safe and comfortable - and you’ll be able to watch exactly what’s happening. We use surveillance camera(s), where you can tune in 24/7 to a live feed from the PupView camera that we place in your home - via an app on your smartphone or tablet. You’ll be able to talk to your pet, and pet sitter through the two-way microphone. At the end of the visit, you will be given the memory card (optional).
No more guessing when your pet sitter arrived/left, or if she even showed up! With our innovative system, you will be notified via email, the moment your pet sitter arrives, leaves, and a map with the exact route that your dog walked! Upon arrival and departure, your pet sitter will press the ‘check in’ or ‘check out’ button on their PupView app. At that moment, our system captures your pet sitters exact GPS coordinates - which reassures you that we were actually at your home, when we said we were. You will receive all of this information in your Client Conversation Journal at the conclusion of each visit.
PupView keeps a record of all conversations between you, and your sitter. The Client Conversation Journal, can be found in your online account on our website. In the Client Conversation Journal you will find the GPS verified time your pet sitter arrived (you’ll be alerted immediately via email), The exact GPS verified map of the walk route taken, whether your pet went pee or poo, the live stream video of the entire visit, any other information pertaining to the visit, and the GPS verified time your pet sitter left your home. After each dog walk or visit, your sitter will update your Conversation Journal, and if you have any questions or comments, you can reply right within the Conversation Journal.
Yes! Pupview and all of our employees are fully bonded and insured through Mourer-Foster of Lansing, Michigan - one of the leading names in pet related insurance. So you can be rest assured that any damage to your pet or your home while in our care, custody, and control is covered. We have never had a claim, by the way!
During the Meet & Greet, you will be provided with a lockbox. Each time you need service you will leave your lockbox attached to your door handle so the pet sitter can let themselves in.
Requesting service is easy and can be done at any time of day because we use a professional, encrypted, online scheduling system. This is where all your information is kept and where your schedule is. If you’re a new client and you need to schedule service, please fill out the PupView Contact Form, Call 1-844-PUPVIEW, or email us at info@pupviewdogwalkers.com If you are an existing client, you can use the PupView app as well. It is your responsibility to keep your online information current for your pet sitter.
The free Meet & Greet gives us a chance to get to know each other in an environment that's most comfortable for your pet. We will also use this as a time to go over a couple forms, and would like you to show us exactly how you take care of your pet - so that we can do the same. Our priority is for your pet to be comfortable, by keeping the same routine that it's accustomed to. This will help to alleviate any unnecessary stress for your pet.
If a second consultation is requested for any reason after the initial Meet & Greet, we would be more than happy to come by, but there will be a $20 charge.
If you decide to move forward with PupView, we will leave you with your lockbox (yours to keep), and set your 4 digit code. Before scheduling your first service, we’ll need to sign you up for your online account access. There is a one-time $25 online account maintenance & lockbox fee that will be added to your first invoice.
You can cancel a walk at any time! However, PupView does maintain a strict cancellation policy. We highly recommend keeping your set walk schedule as constant as possible, with minimal scheduling adjustments. As last minute cancellations and reschedules do cause our pet sitters to lose valuable work hours - a consistent, set schedule encourages dog walker longevity and reduces turnover rate, resulting in a regular, consistent dog walker for you and your pup!
Cancellations for daily dog walks and cat & critter visits must be received 3 hours before the booked time slot, in order to be credited for the full daily walk fee. If not received 3 hours before, a fee of 100% of the daily visit amount will be forfeited. If your pet isn’t at home when we arrive, a fee of 100% of the daily visit amount will be forfeited. Acts of God will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations for holiday overnight pet sitting services must be received by 5PM, SEVEN evenings (1 week) before the scheduled visit in order to be credited/refunded for the full visit fee. A 100% deposit is required at the acceptance of booking. This deposit will be applied to your invoice. If notice of cancellation is not received in time, your deposit will be forfeited. Acts of God will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Early return does not constitute refund for services not used as sitters cannot be booked for other clients services.

Yes! We also offer traditional dog walking service. Those services still include all of the GPS tracking, photos, and all other features offered with our premier, video services. You can compare prices on the rate section of our website.
We do not charge extra for early morning or late night walks/visits. However, there is a $5 surcharge added to each service for walks/visits scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays. 100% of the surcharge goes directly to your dog walker/pet sitter. The surcharge does not apply to the Overnight 12, Overnight 24, Overnight-less, or Goodnight services.
